M2 Worldwide understands the global markets and has more international experience with all types of relationship marketing programs than any other consulting or communications company anywhere.  We work with large and small companies and have extensive experience with pharmaceutical and life sciences companies globally.

At M2 Worldwide, our experience goes well beyond pharma and life sciences, giving us unique perspectives.   We have both very specialized and diverse backgrounds, with vast experience in consumer packaged goods, pharmaceutical, retail, and technological vertical markets … making us unique in our marketplace. We also have breadth of experience in sales, marketing, and market research disciplines.This diversity gives us added insight and allows us to attract top clients and talent to the firm.

While we don’t hang our report cards on the refrigerator, here are some of our accomplishments in our key focus areas:

Healthcare Experience

M2 Worldwide has worked with over 12 companies and 30 brands. From the small molecule products in large companies to the biologic products in small companies, we have broad experience in the healthcare field. We have:

  • Built relationship marketing (RM) capabilities and departments for many of the world’s leading pharma and bio-pharma companies.
  • Developed and launched the innovative, state-of-the-art and proven cross-franchise RM program for the #1 pharma company in the world
  • Created an ex-US RM strategic plan for a leading ED product
  • Developed, implemented and measured effective, targeted adherence and conversion initiatives that engaged patients while complying with EU regulations governing patient communications
  • Launched a Multicultural Team and developed Health Literacy guidelines that drove culturally competent and innovative physician and consumer communications for African Americans and Hispanics
  • Identified and implemented multichannel, non-personal promotion strategies targeting healthcare professionals for Rx and Account-Based brands
  • Developed and manage successful RFP process that identifies database marketing partners for pharmaceutical companies
  • Created, launched and measured successful Relationship Marketing initiatives across all stages of the patient lifecycle – lead generation, conversion, adherence and loyalty
  • Identified strategies and tactics that address the unique characteristics of a range of conditions, including ADHD, allergy, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, cardiovascular, Crohn’s disease, dermatology, diabetes, ED, epilepsy, GI, hemophilia, OAB, oncology and psoriasis. These brands go from small molecule, mass marketed brands to biologic and specialty brands
  • Developed an innovative marketing planning tool which is used for training to help clients practice managing, budgeting, and assessing the viability of all their Marketing expenditures
  • Developed a framework for doing RM successfully, combined with the content needed to put a program together. It could also include a two way communication portal which allows brands a more open and effective communication dialog with both their HCP’s and Patients
  • Developed proprietary analytic models to match segment opportunity with appropriate channel, offer, and message.

Consumer Packaged Goods Experience

Our team has extensive experience (over 50 years combined) in the Consumer Packaged Goods industry.   We have worked for and held senior positions in many leading companies in both a sales and marketing capacity including:  Whitehall/Wyeth, Proctor and Gamble, Pfizer, Tambrands and more.  The brands we have grown include Advil, Robitussin, Dimetap, Tampax, Compound W, and many others.

We had responsibilities for product development, brand management, sales and sales management which included developing, marketing, and setting the selling strategies, and gaining wholesale and retail distribution for many well know consumer products.  

We also had category management and trade funds management responsibilities which included developing a retail customer partnering strategy which was implemented nationwide and at leading retail companies such as Wal-Mart, Safeway, Target, HEB, Albertson’s, Hannaford, A-hold, and Kroger.  

Retail Experience


Our team has over 20 years experience working with retailers and wholesalers distributing, selling and promoting products in North America and overseas.

 

  • We have worked closely with them in the areas of data integration and analysis, supply chain, shelf optimization, modeling, analytics, trade promotion management, trade marketing, and category management. We have also worked in partnership with retailers on package design, and reducing deductions.
  • As a part of our category management activities while on the manufacturer side our people were responsible for working with many major retailers to manage entire categories of products with their stores.
  • Worked on statistical modeling projects where we were to determine all of the following:

    • What are the optimal products to promote? When and at what price? For how long?
    • What would happen (from a financial perspective) when products were moved from one place on the shelf to another?
    • Which products should be displayed? Where? And for how long?
    • What is the most efficient product assortment for each store?
    • What was the true impact (net incremental volume and halo effect) a promotion had on the entire category?

Technology Experience

Our team’s technology expertise lies in the areas of process redesign, application design, data integration, and analysis as it relates to pharma, life sciences, retail, and consumer packaged goods in the areas of supply chain, marketing optimization, modeling, analytics, trade promotion management, trade marketing, and category management.

  • We have built or redesigned four trade funds and analytical software models as well as many implementation processes and we have structured many alliances between complimentary software and data companies.
  • We developed technology-enabled sales support solutions for the consumer goods industry developing “Sales Wave," a cutting-edge web product that integrated promotional planning, evaluation, category management, training, and sales presentation tools into one seamless application. The product has been successfully implemented within several large manufacturing companies including Gillette, Lipton, Duracell, and International Home Foods.
  • We developed the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry’s first fully web-based, category management and trade funds management application, including developing all of the functionality and the proprietary modeling for efficient assortment and pricing analysis.
  • Our team has worked with data of all types and understands in depth; syndicated, shipment, geo-demographic, frequent shopper, and retailer inventory and point of sale (POS) data to name just a few.

We have spoken at many industry technology conferences including the Institute for International Research (IIR), the annual Association of Sales and Marketing Conference (ASMC,) Spectra’s user conference, Crossmark’s “Insights and Action," AC Nielsen and IRI’s user conferences and many manufacturer share groups.
