Share Groups

M2WW is starting two "share groups" around the topic of relationship marketing specifically within in the Pharmaceutical industry. We will have one for the U.S. and one for brands & companies outside the U.S. where the rules around RM are different.

The group will discuss in depth their experiences with both Physician and Patient RM.

While many marketers in the both the EU and US are effectively using relationship marketing strategies and tactics, there are many more brands & country managers who are still unaware of many of the issues, and more importantly, the tremendous opportunities of effectively utilizing RM as part of their overall marketing plan.

What is a Share Group?

Share groups are common practice in the Consumer and Packaged Goods industry and have been around for over 20 years because they have proven their value as a very cost effective way to train, generate ideas, and deliver increased brand ROI’s for the participates.

M2WW will put together industry professionals from different companies will have a forum to speak openly about their experiences and understanding with both Physician and PatientRM. This forum will allow participants to share what they can about that topic (IE: (i.e., how it is being used, learnings from other EU markets, proper investment levels, physician vs. patient strategies, privacy guidelines, business processes, executional ideas, and how RM can be applied to different businesses). The result is that everyone will walk away with real life examples, processes, and ideas which they can apply to their current brands & businesses, not to mention an increased network of industry colleagues.

Participants will be granted category exclusivity (no direct competition will be allowed in the same share group).

How does it work?

Twice each year, M2WW principals will organize a forum complete with topics and speakers for approximately 20 VP’s/brand managers who represent different brands and companies. The meetings are 1 ½ days in length. Participants set the agenda topics and actively participate in the discussions with our guest speakers and moderators. M2WW finalizes the agendas, sets the meeting locations, finds guest speakers, and facilitates the interactive discussions.

What does it cost?

The cost of participation is 4,000 Euros/$5,000 U.S. annually per brand/company. The participants are responsible for their travel, hotel, meal expenses, and any optional activities offered at each event. Renewal is optional.

Please note: Only 2 brands per company are allowed in each share group & up to two people per brand are allowed to attend each meeting.

When is the first available share group?

The EU Relationship Marketing share group will take place in September 2007

  • The EU share group will meet in June 2007 (based on participant’s availability).
  • The U.S. Share group will meet in August 2007.
  • Location and exact timing have yet to be determined.
