Global-Direct to Patient RM Programme launched in Europe
Background/problem
A European based Pharma company was looking to develop their first ever “direct to patient” programme which could be tested and rolled out around the global. The company had initiated two small patient pilots but was unsure whether the results were adequate and if the programmes could be rolled out to other country affiliates. M2WorldWide‘s assignment was to analyze the results of two pilot patient programmes and to recommend an more optimal approach. As part of this project, M2 was also asked to develop a “RM programme in a box” and a global database platform that could be resourced in each of its country affiliates and executed with minimal oversight.
Our Solution:
M2 quickly gathered the appropriate resources and approach that allowed us to:
- Analyze the results of the two pilots and determine the key drivers for opt in and presentation to an HCP
- Work with the Global teams legal counsel to develop a policy and language for the patient “opt-in”
- Develop an RFP to hire the most appropriate global database and fulfillment company for their specific needs
- Work with their global sourcing department to finalize a tight contract with the database and fulfillment company
- Create a global assessment criteria and use it to interviewed key countries to participate in the “optimal pilot” programme
- Provide direction on data collection, messaging, and overall contact strategy
- Develop a sophisticated ROI model to measure the program from inception through completion and have it agreed to by the global team and country affiliates
The Result:
- The pilot was successfully launched on an abbreviate time schedule and brought in under budget
- Return on investment goals were exceeded
- A global database platform was created and utilized effectively
- A Global Country Training workshop was developed
- The programme and the patient elements were utilized across the company
- Global roll-out of the programme will soon begin
Timing:
- The pilot was assessed, prepared and launched from start to finish in 4 months!
